Early career focused on pastoral counseling, adult education. 
Shifted into psychotherapy in the late 1960s.  Introduced to bioenergetic analysis through reading Lowen's Betrayal of the Body, Bob Hilton and Renato Monaco.  Aside from two years post doctoral work for the County Mental Health Department, I have worked in the private practice of psychotherapy with a special focus on bioenergetic analysis.

I have been fortunate to teach for many years for the International Institute of Bioenergetic Analysis.  I recently ended 30 years of coordinating training programs in Italy, and have also coordinated training in Switzerland and Southern California and San Diego.
