Presenters: Tarra Judson Stariell & Living Ubuntu Saturday, June 5 2010 9:00a - 12:00p Manchester Conference Center, University of San Diego, 5998 Alcala Park I, San Diego, CA 92110 Early registration fee: (before Friday, May 28th) $40 For many of us, life is hectic. With so many competing tasks and obligations it is hard to avoid feeling over-committed and overwhelmed. Why is it so hard to keep up? Where is the time for me? How is this affecting my body? relationships? Why do I feel so lost in my own life? This is a workshop about our overwhelmed lives and how to manage the demands our choices place upon us without losing ourselves in the process. This workshop is intended for the general public (especially people in Southern California). Anyone who is chronically busy, over-scheduled and overwhelmed feels like they are going through life on "autopilot" gets lost in carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders is a double-booker, multi-tasker and always running late has a difficult relationship with their body (everything hurts) wants more “me” time but is always putting it off and, doesn't have time to attend this workshop... should attend :) Participants will experience exercises and tools that facilitate retrieving the lost parts of ourselves. What does it mean to have an "embodied" sense of self? Why is it so common to feel separated from one's self? One of the goals of the workshop is to help mend this separation Introduction to Bioenergetic Analysis
