As a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of counseling experience, I understand the strength it takes to enter therapy. Therapy can be a place to learn new ways of coping with life’s struggles. It can also be a place to learn to be more grounded, to tune into yourself and discover your true wants and desires, to find and express your own voice, to accept support, and to stretch beyond your old limits—toward greater pleasure and deeper connectedness with others.

I help clients learn to live more fully. As you move through some of the old blocks from past experiences, it is exciting to see what comes to life from within you. Depending on each person’s individual needs and comfort level, we use words, movement, art, and emotion. In the safety and confidentiality of your own therapy, you are free to reach for what you need.

I see clients of all ages in my private practice. I work with adults both individually and as couples. I also provide a safe place for children and youth to work through difficult times and challenges. In all of my work, I help build on strengths and I offer myself as a support.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist. I serve on the San Diego Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis faculty committee and I am Coordinator of the Bioenergetics One-Year Workshop Series Introduction to Somatic Relational Psychology. I lead training presentations and workshops for community organizations and at San Diego State University School of Social Work.
